About the S 378 E4
The Lukas S 378 E4 is the entry-level cutter of the new LUKAS E4 generation — and it punches well above its class. At just 17.8 kg and 846 mm long, it is the most portable E4 cutter, yet it delivers a cutting force of 760 kN and achieves EN class 3K on the most demanding steel grade.
The E4 generation adds Captium™ IoT connectivity for real-time diagnostics, geofencing and fleet asset tracking. An integrated high-intensity LED light bar illuminates the cutting zone in low-visibility conditions. The new on-tool charging system eliminates the need for battery swaps during extended operations. The 1,000 V insulation rating makes it fully safe for electric and hybrid vehicle rescue scenarios — meeting the growing demand for EV-capable tools in modern fire brigades.
IP 58 protection ensures reliable performance in rain, salt water, mud and flood environments.
