About the SP 778 E4

The Lukas SP 778 E4 is the largest-reach spreader in the E4 generation, designed for incidents involving trucks, buses, coaches and other heavy vehicles where standard spreader reach is insufficient. Its 1,018 mm blade distance — the widest in the E4 range — allows single-position spreading across wide vehicle door apertures and heavy vehicle cab sections.

At 500 kN spreading force throughout the full stroke and a 64 kN pulling force over 858 mm, the SP 778 E4 handles the most demanding heavy-rescue scenarios. The squeezing force of 100 kN covers door hinge defeat and A-pillar stabilisation. All E4 platform features are included: Captium™ IoT connectivity for remote diagnostics and geofencing; integrated LED light bar; on-tool charging; and the new 360° ergonomic handle.

At 24.3 kg it is the heaviest E4 spreader and is best deployed as a two-firefighter tool on heavy vehicles. IP 58 rated for flood and maritime rescue environments.
