Vetter pipe sealing sleeves are external pneumatic clamps and wraps applied over a leaking pipe section to stop the flow of hazardous substances without pipe cutting or hot work. The Vetter high-pressure pipe leak sealing system extends this capability to pressurised pipelines carrying chemicals, hydrocarbons, or gas under line pressure.

The Vetter high-pressure leak sealing system is designed for pressurised pipelines and hoses where standard sealing bags would fail under line pressure. Uses pneumatic cone and wedge elements, or sleeve clamps, to seal leaks against pipeline operating pressure. Used by oil & gas, chemical plants, and port facilities.

A pipe sealing sleeve is applied externally over the outside of a leaking pipe — it wraps around the pipe and seals the hole from the outside. A pipe plug is inserted inside the pipe bore to block flow from within. Sleeves are used when inside access isn't possible or when the leak is a crack or pinhole on the pipe wall.
Standard sealing sleeves are for low-pressure applications. For pipelines under operating pressure, Vetter's high-pressure leak sealing system — with pneumatic cones, wedges, and reinforced clamps — is the correct product. Contact us to specify based on your working pressure.
